My sis tried not to say too much to her daughter too, but unfortunately she still lost interest. I just thought it might be contributing to his very extended stance.Keechyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13508060247369251383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14868403.post-27139182607441361622011-03-27T14:04:23.126-07:002011-03-27T14:04:23.126-07:00I was just reading in Rashid's book about his ...I was just reading in Rashid's book about his horse who had the huge, huge "peas" in his urinary tract that were causing him pain. (Thought about that when you asked about his peeing stance.)Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14303523299217618526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14868403.post-52874418714400741412011-03-26T19:01:45.625-07:002011-03-26T19:01:45.625-07:00I normally do sit forward when he pees, but I didn...I normally do sit forward when he pees, but I didn't want to nag the kid to death. I did that when she was younger and I think that's why she doesn't get into the horses anymore. :( So I decided to feed it to her in increments, let the little things slide for now...

I can't wait until we have Tonka feeling better so she can ride him some more.Andrea -Mustang Sagahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00576342393431178404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14868403.post-67347957848486469932011-03-26T17:45:46.712-07:002011-03-26T17:45:46.712-07:00I'm glad you aren't selling Scout.
Wow ...I'm glad you aren't selling Scout.

Wow on the great comment. My oldest niece thinks EVERYTHING is wrong with her parents. As far as I can see, the only thing they do wrong is overindulge her! :P

I didn't know about there but here it is common practice to lift your weight off a horse's back when they wee. To stand up in the stirrups or at least lean forward. Takes the pressure off their back while they are in such an awkward position.Keechyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13508060247369251383noreply@blogger.com
