Apalousey Trail Ride
I think I might want to do this. Might. It's a bit pricey. But every year I read about it and wish I could do it. Besides the great trail riding and dutch oven cooking, I sure wouldn't mind helping out the Appaloosa Museum. We love to go there and browse through the displays, sit on saddles in the kids' area, and of course browse the gift shop. Would you go on the ride if you lived near enough? (Click the above link for details). Want to come with me?

Oh I would love to, wish I could! :) When I was only leasing my horse, I almost lost him to someone who wanted to buy him to take on the Chief Joseph Trail ride (you can only ride a registered Appy.)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good time...yes, a lil' spendy, but it must be a fund raiser. Take lots of pics if you go!
ReplyDeleteI would go with you...if, you know, I had a horse, I lived over there, I rode more than once a year (so wouldn't be saddle sore!), enjoyed camping even a little bit, and hadn't ruined my family by racking up thousands of dollars in debt. so...I will be with you in spirit.
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Idaho, I definitely thought about it, but the cost was prohibitive.
