I had a little visitor today.
She somehow got stuck in my chicken coop.
I was glad to meet her but she wasn't so sure about me. Didn't even want to look at me for a photo, but eventually she did.
I opened the door wide, walked in and out a few times to show her, and then shooed her in that direction. It didn't take her long to make her way to freedom.
Beautiful.
Nice shots, Andrea. I wonder if she was disoriented from the cold?
ReplyDeleteThe poor little thing did seem pretty stressed. I think she got in there after some mice (we have a bit of a mouse problem in the chicken coop) and couldn't get out. She bloodied her nose, poor thing. I still don't know how she got in there, but it's possible she was small enough to fit through the chicken wire on top of the coop, it's the kind with bigger holes.
ReplyDeletewell hopefully she got the mice and you rescued her with a full belly! you took some really great shots of her, beautiful bird.
