I think John found a new sport to love. I'm so glad he went with me to Albany. He kept dragging me back to the Extreme Cowboy Race. I wasn't complaining too much :)

So guess what we did on our first full day back?
Loaded up and went to play in the arena.

Yep, I think he's got the bug.

Yee Haw!!!!

City Boy enjoyed his time in Albany as well. I'm hoping to get Steve Holt! going well enough for him to start riding this summer and who knows...maybe he and John will hit the ECR circuit together, lol!

How fun Andrea. I looked for you Sat. I spread out a blanket but did not see you. Debby found me though and we had a little room but not much. There sure was a crowd. I really never saw anyone ride that fast except at the Davenport Rodeo and that horse did not make the corner crashed thru the fence on top of the girl riding. I did well with my own room but wish in retrospect I had taken our daughter Nikki with me. She would have loved it too. Glad you made it home OK. I left about 8 AM for home. Did not like driving in the heavy rain but made it just fine... Was good to see you and meet John.

Cool to see your hubby is the one doing the dragging when it comes to horses!

I wish I had been able to meet more of the folks that I have run across online, just managed to meet you and Lea, and it sounds like more were there, lol. Oh well, maybe another time.

I posted some awful pics to try and show the top 5 from the race. I got video of Keith Danielson's ride, I believe he got 6th place, will try to upload it tomorrow (after I see if it is too fuzzy to even see anything).

That's very cool. Not to change the subject, but check out this mare on the internet adoption. She's got the sweetest face and Tonka's colors!

I'm worried that no one will take her home.

I loved watching the Cowboy Race as well. Very interested in doing this stuff. I to came home and put up all kinds of things in my round pen to do with Gunner :o)

I am glad that I was able to go to Albany as I learned a lot while down there and I am so excited to progress in my relationship with my horse. I just sure wish I was able to meet some of you while down there.

That's great! Whatever it takes to inspire the hubbies! I just read your post above, too. I might try that clicker training, but I need a clicker. Your halter has been working great.
