I just liked this picture

I love this picture, and it was fun riding up and down the little butte

The sky!

Mule deer

Tonka didn't mind the bridge at all, but the water noise bothered him a bit.

Another quiet evening ride

Adorable ears, and a beautiful view

My handsome guy

We had a wonderful time meeting up with the Mustang Club for our campout at Escure ranch.  LOTS of riding, and we didn't even see half of it I'm sure.  What a great getaway.  I'm already wanting to go back.

Oh, and the funniest part of the trip was when Henry was hiking with us.  He's geting ready to climb Mt. Rainier this summer so he carried his big pack.  Tonka didn't mind it for the most part, but every now and then he'd look at it like it was a monster perched on Henry's back, eating his brain.  He cracks me up with his little idiosyncrasies.

What a lovely place to ride. It's not all that far from me really. I thought the landscape looked familiar. We live in another channel of the great floods....Crab Creek.

It does look a lot like the country by you. I think I liked riding up there even better than Escure, but it's twice as far for me to drive, darn it. Someday I'll make it back up there, and maybe we can sit around the campfire together.

What a beautiful ride!! The weather cooperated with you, too. I'd like to ride there sometime soon.
